The Company has comprehensive hands-on experience of managing state commercial assets from different perspectives including that of principal within government, non-executive director, investment banking and private equity.

 

Biography of Dag Detter, Founder

A recognised authority on developing state commercial assets, Dag Detter is one of the key initiators of the OECD Guidelines on Corporate Governance of State-Owned Enterprises.

As President of Stattum, the Swedish government holding company, and a Director at the Ministry of Industry, he led the first deep-rooted transformation of SOEs in Europe, the Swedish government’s €60bn commercial portfolio. He currently acts as an advisor for governments, government holding companies and national wealth funds in Europe, Asia and the MENA-region.

This former investment banker and senior consultant to the private equity sector has served as an advisor to the World Bank, IFC and the OECD on the development of state commercial assets.

Dag has in-depth industrial experience and has served as Non-Executive Director on a number of boards of private and public companies including Telia the Swedish telecom company, Celsius, the European defence contractor and DTZ, the international real estate corporation.

Dag was born in Sweden, holds a degree in Business and Sinology from Sweden and has studied classical Chinese history in China.
